I will be presenting a 30 minute overview of the case including new developments at the John F. Kennedy Library in Dearborn Heights on Wednesday, Sept. 11 at 6:30 p.m.
Here's the promo material:
Award-winning journalist Marney Keenan will talk about the unsolved abduction and murder of four children from Oakland County in the mid-seventies. These murders spawned panic across southeast Michigan, triggering the most extensive manhunt in U.S. history. The case went cold for more than thirty years until 2009, when Marney broke the story about the most promising suspect ever to emerge in the case. She will take us inside the investigation of the still unsolved murders as seen through the eyes of the lead detective and the family who cracked it open.
